Who Are We?

What makes us special

We aim to take the best of all the mainstream treatment techniques for Muscle, Joint and Nerve conditions and combine them into the most effective integrated treatments available for our patients.

Chiropractors in the U.K. are trained as standard to masters degree level in clinical diagnosis and a wide variety of treatment techniques. Chiropractors are fully trained in all the same exercise, soft tissue and manual treatment techniques as physiotherapists and sports therapist, but on average train full-time for several years longer (5-6 years for a British Chiropractic Association  Chiropractor). This is because they also train to significant depth in rehabilitation, orthopaedics, biomechanics, neurology and general diagnosis amongst other subjects. Chiropractors are the only manual therapists in the U.K. to be fully qualified in musculo-skeletal radiography and radiology. This means they are able to take x-rays and write reports on x-ray, CT and MRI scans. This unique skill set is now the only real difference between the Osteopathy profession and the Chiropractic profession now that both are evidence-based. This places Chiropractors in the unique position to be able to evaluate an image and be able to determine whether physical/manual therapy is likely to be able to help a given condition and its likely long-term prospects.

At ChiroCare: The Back and Neck Pain Clinic our services integrate with local NHS hospital and GP services and private healthcare professionals. This enables us to access any services patients may require for further investigation or co-management of their conditions. We also provide ongoing rehabilitation services after hospital discharge from orthopaedic procedures.

Explore the causes of your pain

During your treatment course you will learn not just about why you have pain but what you can do to prevent and control it yourself. Which exercises to do and which to avoid. How to combat aggravating work situations and much more.

Treatment Course

Courses of treatment are based on national clinical guidelines issued by The Royal College of Chiropractors. Our standard course includes a 40 minute, one-to-one rehabilitation exercise tuition session and a comprehensive 40 minute reassessment, including functional, orthopaedic and neurological testing. If you have been recommended a course of treatment you can save significantly, by purchasing a standard course of treatment versus paying individually per session.
